Supply Chain SaaS: Rebrand, Growth Marketing & G2 Category Leadership

About the Client

GMDH Software (now Streamline) is an AI-driven supply chain planning platform providing demand forecasting and inventory optimization for retail, wholesale, distribution, and manufacturing teams. The product itself was solid and already relied on by real supply chain teams — but it lacked market presence: no memorable brand, no reviews on the platforms buyers check before taking a sales call, and no case studies or partner motion to support growth.

A good product with no name for itself

GMDH Software had already done the hard part. The platform worked — AI-driven demand forecasting and inventory optimization that supply chain teams in retail, wholesale, distribution, and manufacturing genuinely relied on. What it didn't have was a brand anyone would remember, a single review on the sites buyers actually check, or a go-to-market motion built to compound.

A technically accurate name is not the same thing as a market-ready one. And in supply chain software, where buyers cross-reference G2 before they'll take a sales call, having zero reviews doesn't read as "new" — it reads as "unproven." Go Global helped to fix it: new wesite creation, the review presence, the case studies, the partner motion assistance and leverage, and the SEO fight against entrenched competitors.

Rebranding without burning the old traffic

The rename to Streamline, launched at streamlineplan.com, was the visible part. The less obvious decision was what happened to the old domain. Instead of retiring gmdhsoftware.com, it stayed live as a second, independent organic channel — preserving years of accumulated SEO equity while the new brand built its own authority from scratch. Both domains now generate leads in parallel, rather than the rebrand costing the business the traffic it had already earned.

Growth marketing as a discipline, not a slogan

Every channel and tactic went through the same filter: does it move pipeline and closed revenue, or doesn't it. What didn't convert got cut. What did, got doubled down on. It's a simple rule that's hard to actually run — most GTM programs keep tactics alive out of sunk cost. This one didn't.

Building a category leader on G2 from absolute zero

Perhaps the sharpest result: Streamline's entire G2 presence was built from nothing. Zero reviews became 160+ verified reviews within a single quarter, and a 4.5-out-of-5 average across all of them. The badges followed the reviews — Top 50 Supply Chain & Logistics Products, Momentum Leader, Most Implementable, Best Relationship, and eventually Leader. Streamline had gone from an unranked product to a category Leader in Supply Chain Planning.

The G2 investment paid twice: beyond the review flywheel, Go Global used G2's paid Intent Data to identify companies actively researching supply chain solutions in real time — turning the review platform into an outbound and retargeting signal, not just a trust badge.

Proof, told through the customers who already believed it

A structured library of client case studies gave Streamline something a rebrand alone couldn't: third-party proof, organized by vertical. Each one did double duty — ranking for organic search and giving sales a document to hand to a skeptical prospect at exactly the right moment in a deal.

Handing partners the tools to sell without you in the room

Growth doesn't scale if every lead has to run through the agency. Go Global built out a full partner enablement layer — a content plan, a partner playbook, and ready-to-use templates and references — so that Streamline's partners could generate and close leads independently, without needing Go Global's ongoing hand on every deal.

Taking share directly from the competitors buyers were already comparing

Rather than only building Streamline's own SEO footprint, the strategy went straight at the traffic competitors already owned: comparison pages positioning Streamline head-to-head against category leaders, built to capture buyers who were already deep in a competitive evaluation. Integration pages — "Streamline + SAP" and similar complementary-tool pairings — captured a different, adjacent search intent entirely. The throughline: Streamline wasn't positioned as one more option in the category, but as the upgrade a buyer should make instead.

What the traffic actually shows

The numbers back up the story. Organic traffic spiked sharply after the engagement began (around August 2023), with informational traffic peaking near 8K visits/month and commercial (buyer-intent) traffic peaking near 6K/month. Today, both domains — the new brand and the retained legacy one — are still active and still generating traffic, a rare outcome for a company mid-rebrand.

From an unranked, review-less product to a G2 category Leader: not through one big swing, but through a rebrand, a review engine, a partner motion, and a content strategy that all pointed at the same goal at the same time.
